We came here for the first time about 4 years ago and have been coming at least once a year since then. Our first night here our neighbors were extremely loud well into the night. We called the owner and the problem was immediately taken care of. If you want a nice quiet campground close to charlotte this is the place. If you want to party and drink all night you probably won't like it, so stay somewhere else.
Spent 7 month living here while relocating to Charlotte, cant say enough good things about the place and the owner. Very nice folks and very accommodating. I would highly recommend Glennwood Acres to friends and family.
I am thankful for finding a safe place to stay during my transition to NC. I was made to feel welcome, and Treated with respect.
Stayed here for 2 months, I had a great experience. Philip was very accommodating, staff was friendly. Will be staying here again in the future
3. Phil doesn't put up with anything that would interrupt other campers stay. If you look at some of the negative comments, you can clearly see that a few of them don't say anything nice about anywhere they have stayed.
2. My family 2 children ages 9 and 6 have come to visit me, and they made friends with other campers.
I came to Charlotte for work last year. I have been staying at Glenwood for the last 6 months. I would like to say a few things about the negative comments.
If you are looking for a safe easy in and pull out campground that is accessible to 85, full hook ups, and trees, This is the place for you. I would totally recommend this place to anyone.
1. I have never felt uncomfortable or unsafe here. Mr. Little and staff are always available and you can usually see them riding around the park cleaning and picking things up. The Exxon on the corner is well stocked and easy to fill propane on site.
Great. Place to camp. Well kept grounds and the people are wonderful. We stay here twice a year and love it.
