Very nice campground. 441, mostly large gravel sites, picnic tables and FHU. Very short drive or moderate walk to the track. Shoot drive to the mall and the city. Staff were awesome. Regular rate is $22.50 with Good Sam discount. Rates during a race event is much higher.

This is not your typical Campground but if you're staying for the race it's one of the best campgrounds at a track there is if you're traveling and looking for a place to stay the night it is an excellent place. The people are great in the camping office and if you're there for the Race you can take care of tickets and other problems or items you want to at the campground office we just did and had a great experience.
Closest full hook-up campsites with convenient location to the Charlotte Motor Speedway auto racing venues. Also next door to the former Tom Johnson Camping Center, now a Camping World location that sells new and used campers of all classes.
