Food was all good and service was quick. Salad was fresh and the margarita was tasty. Not the best Mexican we’ve had but it’s good and we’d come back.
I moved away from the concord mills area, and the ONLY thing I miss is this On The Border. Their staff, food and margaritas are phenomenal. I've ordered their buffet items for multiple parties and it's always been an easy, reliable process. I highly recommend experiencing On The Border at concord mills!!
Staff was great, margarita was great, chips and salsa was great, fajitas..... not so much. They had pulled pork, zucchini and squash in them and it took away from the authentic Mexican taste for me. I'll stick to Aztecas.
Will never eat here again! Over priced for the quality of food. Everything taste the same, an overload of chili powder for seasoning. It was so bad that my son's beef burrito and my "three cheese" burrito with chicken taste so much alike we couldn't tell which one we were eating except for the texture. Even my youngest, who had a child's chicken quesadilla, couldn't eat his for all of the chili powder. Now, don't get me wrong, we like spicy but this was as if they had run out of seasoning except for the chili powder and decided to just put it on everything. At least the queso dip was good. Next time we will just stick to El Vaquero.
We had a party if 9 tonight. The waiter was very nice. Got chips and drinks for us. Waited 45 minutes though for the food. And when my food came to the table,there was a hair in it. Nothing like losing your appeite. So nasty. Granted the manager took it off of my bill. That should not had happened.
