I could right a review but this man is not worth the time so, If your future or the future of a loved one is on the line DO NOT USE THIS GUY!!!! We were left stunned in the courtroom when the DA presented this false evidence and this "attorney" DID NOTHING he does want you to take an guilty plea and call it a day, he will not take calls or talk to you he's just ridiculous.
I've had Mr. Gamradt represent me twice now, and both times I would give him 5 stars! He was friendly and honest with me- firm and direct with the D.A., and got the exact results from the judge I wanted! I would defiantly choose Mr. Gamradt to represent me again, and would highly recommend him to anyone having legal troubles. Thank you for your great representation!
I hired Darrin to work on a case for my family and was very pleased with how he helped us. He made contact with us to keep us up to date on the status of the case and made us aware of what to expect next. He contacted the other involved attorney and resolved the matter to our satisfaction. I am not one for writing reviews, however, I want to warn as many as I can regarding this young man Darrin. My families experience with Darrin was absolutely HORRIBLE. I believe in being fair, and giving everyone an opportunity to prove themselves, so I tried/we tried to have an open mind. My nephew was assigned to Darrin, as his public defender. He would tell him that he was going to visit him in the county jail in Cabarrus, and simple not show up....this went on for well over 4, 5 mths! When my nephews wife would call, he suddenly made up a bogus excuse so that he would not have to talk to her. All she was trying to do was get updates, and stay on top of the case in order to keep the family abreast. He specifically spoke to family stating that the information that the DA had was bogus, that he himself had NOT been given an opportunity to even view the evidence yet, however, he tried continuously to get my nephew to plead guilty to a charge in which he had no part in. His only crime was allowing someone to use his cell phone....that's it, and that young man committed a crime somewhere down the line. However, that had nothing to do with my nephew. My wife is generous, and she's let others use her phone at times. So, if one of those individuals committed a crime in the future, would they charge my wife, because of a phone number they dialed??? smh. I understand people get burned out in their professional, however, he still took an oath to give 100% and support the clients in which he was assigned. How are you honestly representing someone if your ONLY DEFENSE is to plead guilty??? How can you not have privilege to important documents, or information; state the DA has not allowed YOU, the attorney to view it, then turn around an instruct your client to plead guilty? We constantly tried to get the discovery in which clients have a right to see, and he made excuses for over 5mths until we had to contact the N.C. Bar Association regarding his behavior. We feel he needs to retire. If you are not going to be 100% vested in representing someone, why take the case? This is someone's' life, and Darrin clearly let it be known by his lack of representation, that he simply did NOT CARE. We are strong believers in God, and know that HE will deal with Darren. Vengeance is the Lord's; the world calls it karma, whatever you like to call it, God will deal with him. Actually we did research and spoke with a few other attorney's in the area who described Darrin as 'one of the younger attorney's'. They also stated that they constantly get complaints regarding Darrin that he has extremely poor follow up, and/or simply does not call back, is not fully invested in representing his clients, and is known for taking the easy way; and instructs clients to plead guilty even when they are not. Unless you have absolutely no other choice, please, do not allow this young man to represent you or your loved ones.
